The bar chart deals with the amount of automobile journeys into the city center undertaken by citizens and foreigners, between 1996 and 2005. Journeys are measured in average number of car trips per day.

In the second and third period number of locals dropped sharply twice, however non-locals number remained stable before returning to the starting point at the end.
As the chart illustrates, citizens were at the top of the indicators, while foreigners experienced a slight rise, between 1996 and 1999. The residents peaked at approximately 10 000 journeys, in contrast, non-residents took half of this number at the beginning, while slightly increasing at 8000.
According to the chart in the early 2000s, parking meters introduced into city centre, which led to dramatic decreases twice, in comparison, non-residents saw a remain constant during the period of 2000 and 2002.
As it may be seen from the chart after 2002s, Westgate Street and Park Lane closed traffic for the next three years, caused a decline of residents, which continued to fall till 2005s, while non-residents declined twice. In comparison, for the first year residents have shown 10000, at the end decreased twice and indicated at 5000. Meanwhile, non-residents were fluctuating between the first year, but anyway at the end it turned out to be as in the first year.
