The bar chart gives information about the percentage of electronic devices, namely smartphone, tablet, laptop, and e-reader, used by people in different age groups in Australia in 2008.
Overall, smartphones were the highest used devices by people who aged 12-24 year whereas e-readers were not used by they. However, e-readers were the highest used electronic devices among 76 years and over.
The use of tablet was the highest among people aged 25-50, with two-fifths whereas a small amount of people who aged 76 year and above had the least tablet usage. Just over two fifth people who were 51-75 year olds used laptop, which had the highest usage. The lowest percentage was within individuals aged 12-24, with almost five percent.
The proportion of people aged 12-24 that used smartphone was nearly 65 percent, which had the highest amount while just under ten percent people who were 76 year and above used this device, which amount had the lowest of using smartphone. They also used e-reader. Their usage proportion were sixty percent. However, people aged 25-75 had the lowest amount, with total almost 15%.
