The graph illustrates how many percent of people over 16 by age category using the internet between 2003 and 2006. Overall internet users on age group 16-24 used internet considerably high percent among age groups, while the reverse was true for group older than 65 age.
Additionally, result number of internet users in 2006 showed highest percent in each group apart from figure 16-24 age.
In greater detail, adults in the UK, having age at 16-24 years old, showed the most internet users throughout the years, exceeding 80%. The value of internet users peaked at 100% in 2005. But after that decreased slightly until about 95 %. The quantity of network users by aged between 25 and 54 rose gradually until 80% each given years. One difference was that percentage of 25-44 age people started from approximately 50% whereas number of user 45-54 age started from 60%.
Furthermore between 2003 and 2006 there was a noticeable fluctuation in the number of network users by 55-64 and older than 65 age groups. There was a huge rise in the worth of network consumption by 55-64 aged from about 30% to approximately 50%. Number of users who was older than 65 years stood at under 5% in the initial year but that percent increased to 20% in the 2006.
