The bar graph shows data about the proportion of men and women who prefer to participate in five various activities ages 18 to 20 during a four-week. Overall, both genders are more active than each other. Also, cycling is the most preferred activity, however, hockey showed an opposite pattern.
Regarding the most desirable activities, participating proportion for football is the highest over the others, with males are far more active to participate than females, at more than 50% compared to under 20%, respectively. Participation of cycling percentages is the second desirable activity, with males being less active than females, at under 40% compared to 40%, respectively. Interestingly, swimming is one of the best desirable activity, females are far more active than males, at around a third compared to a fifth, respectively.
As for the least desirable activities, the proportion of participation in hockey and basketball show a similar pattern, with males are much more active than females, that of hockey is the lowest trend, with males engaging in hockey approximately a third and females approximately more than one in ten. Moreover, women being less active than men in terms of participation basketball, at about 13% compared to 5 %, respectively.
