Overall, the instruments students have learned in 2015 was by far more than previous years. While drums were the most unpopular, the number of instruments to learn increased significantly in the piano and the violin, the guitar too.
In 2005, approximately 11% of students learning to play the guitar, while the violin and the piano were lower with 10% and 8%, only 5% chose drums to learn. By 2010, the guitar continued to be popularity among students with the piano, reaching 20% and 17%. However, a stability was withnessed by the violin and drums.
In 2015, the percentage of school children learning the guitar was peaking at an approximately 10%, while the piano learners increased from 17% to 25%. Furthermore, although the percentage of students learning to play drums had a little extra to 8%, there was a moderate downward for the violin, at only 7%
