The given graph illustrates the percentage of students learning to play violin, guitar, piano, and drums in three different years.
Overall, there was an increase in the number of school children playing piano, guitar, and drums; meanwhile, a decrease was seen in the case of violin. Added to this, the highest number of students was recorded in guitar in 2015.
Starting at over 10%, the proportion of piano saw a dramatic increase, surpassing the figure of guitar and overtaking the first position in 2015. In the last recorded year, the figure of piano reached its peak at 40%, exceeding that of guitar with a slight gap of approximately 2%.
Unlike the two mentioned instruments, violin and drums were chosen to learn by a tiny fraction of students. Violin witnessed stable growth, rising from 4% to 9% after three years. Meanwhile, there was a rapid decrease in drums every five years, and its final figure became the lowest data in the graph, which was smaller than 4%.
