Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that watching TV was the most popular option among all age profiles, while the opposite trend was true for art courses. Furthermore, 12-16-year-olds actively engaged in all four hobbies, demonstrating the highest rates of interest in all categories, with the exception of art.
Turning to the statistics, the proportion of children who watch TV increased by the age, 90% of 5-8-year-olds, well under 100% of 9-11-year-olds and just under 100% of 12-16-year-olds watched TV. As for reading, almost 70% of children aged 9-11 and 12-16 dedicated time for it, while just over 60% of 5-8-year-olds spend time on reading.
Moreover, riding the bike was preferred by the younger and older children almost at the same level ( 80%), while 9-11-year-old made up only just over 60%. Art was reported to be the least popular option in all age demographics, with 5-8-year-olds accounting for 60%, following by 9-11-year olds and 12-16-year-olds, with 55% and 50%, respectively.
