Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that watching TV was the most popular option among all age profiles, while the opposite trend was true for art courses. Turning to the statistics, the proportion of children who watched TV increased with age; 90% of 5- to 8-year-olds, well under 100% of 9- to 11-year-olds, and just under 100% of 12- to 16-year-olds watched TV. As for reading, almost 70% of children aged 9-11 and 12-16 dedicated time to it, while just over 60% of 5- to 8-year-olds spent time reading.
Moreover, riding a bike was preferred by younger and older children at almost the same level (80%), while 9- to 11-year-olds made up only just over 60%. Art was reported to be the least popular option in all age demographics, with 5- to 8-year-olds accounting for 60%, followed by 9- to 11-year-olds and 12- to 16-year-olds, with 55% and 50%, respectively.
