The bar chart represents the percentages of divorces in two specific European countries namely Finland and Sweden between 2011 and 2015.
Overall Sweden experienced a downward trend, while finland showed an upward trend throughout the period.Both countries have some fluctuations in their percentages.Although Finland had a lower rate at the beginning, it outraced Sweden at the end of the period.
In 2011, Sweden’s divorce rate was about 45% which was higher than Finland’s rate by approximately 8%.The next year,this rate rose to almost fifty percent and it was the highest rate over the period in Sweden. However, from 2013 the rate decreased to 47% & continued to decline gradually to the end of the period,reaching around 45% in 2014. In 2015, it hited the lowest rate about 37%.
On the other hand, Finland’s divorce rate was less than 40% in 2011.Then it fall down to about 32%,when Sweden’s divorce rate was at peak. After that the percentage increased moderately next two years,approximately 39% in 2013 and about 41% in 2014,which remain steady till the next year,outracing the rate of Sweden.
