Looking at the years 1991 and 2001, in both years, 28% of families were without any cars. In 1991, the percentage of people owning one car was 50%, and this figure decreased to 44% in 2001. The proportion of households with two cars witnessed a considerable increase, from 22% in 1991 to 28% in 2001.
