Overall, at beginning people with no vehicle had a highest percentage. However No car household experienced a downtrend while, people owning single car showed upward trend throughout the period. People owning two cars had some fluctuations. Although, initailly two car households had a lower perentage, it outraced citizens having no car.
To begin with, citizen owing zero cars was about 49% in the year 1971, while families with one car showed 35%. Similarly, people with two cars examined the least 18%. However, in the year 1981 citizens with zero cars and families with single car experienced a decline of 7% and 3%. But people possessing two cars showed an increase resulting to 29%.
At the end of the years 1991 and 2002, families with no cars were at 30% in the both years 1991 and 2001. Citizens owning single vehicle were at 19% in the year 1991 and gave a rapid increase of 42% at 2001. However, people with double car surpassed families with no car and resulted to 31%.
