Overall, boys favoured outdoor activities such as doing sports, going to the public park, whereas, girls showed an interest in indoor activities including making handicrafts, reading books. Notably, computers and dvd were common with both genders.
To clarify, the largest gap between the two genders was documented in sports, where 28% of boys devoted time to play sports in leisure time, surpassing girls (around 12%). Similarly, going to the parks witnessed a contrast in preferences between the two genders, with exactly 25% to the boys, which was nearly two times the figure for females. In contrast, the share of technology field exhibited equal interest at precisely 15%,
Moving to the remaining categories, although the highest share in art and craft was recorded for girls at 25%, this kind of activity experienced the lowest action for boys at only around 7%. Reading books made up for approximately 18% among girls, compared to about 10% of boys. However, DVDs was the genre that witnessed the most balanced admissions, with around 17% and 15% for both groups, with preference in the girls bracket being slightly higher.
