Overall, most of the people in both Europe and the USA think that the most important factor is how the business is managed, whereas in Europe the same proportion of people think that the personality of the director has the same importance.
As far as people in the USA are concerned, their response to the survey depicts that the personality of the director and how the business is managed have by far the biggest impact for the success of a business, comprising about 37% of people in this opinion. However, nearly half of them or about 18% think that the national economy has the greatest impact. About less than 5% of people surveyed think that external factors or political situation is the most important factor.
As for the people in Europe, it is noteworthy that almost the same proportion as those in the USA think that how the business is managed is the most important factor. In addition, about half of them are in the opinion that national economy or the personality of the director is the most important factor, comprising 22% and 20% respectively, whereas less than 15% are in the opinion that external factors or political situations have the greatest impact on the success in a business.
