The bart chart compares the proportion of people in Malaysia and Singapore who hold different science qualifications, including no qualification, school leaving exams, bachelor’s degree and master’s degree.
Overall, the largest proportion of people in both countries have no science qualification, while the smallest proportion of people is with master’s degree. Singapore has a higher proportion of people with higher level of science qualifications compared to Malaysia.
Looking more closely, Malaysia shows slightly higher figures with two-third of people who have no qualification in science compared to Singapore with 60% people. Whereas the figure of people in Malaysia who have only school leaving exams with 34% is higher than the figure of people who live in Singapore with 30%.
In contrast, the percentage of people who are from Singapore shows much higher than Malaysia. While the figures of both sides have same proportions.
