Overall, Malaysia ranked first in two categories, while Singapore had the highest figures in single category. Both of these countries witnessed equal numbers in one type of science qualifications.
There was almost the similar patterns between the proportions of Malaysian and Singaporian people in no qualification in science, with the former standing first with 65% and this category showed the highest figure compared to others.
Malaysia’s population also ranked first in school living exams, witnessing 35%. Singapore experienced lower proportion of people in the same category at about 30%. In contrast, in bachelor’s degree Singapore had the highest share, the contribution of Malaysia was 1/2 as high as that of Singapore, as the latter was responsible for the largest percentage with 20%.
For the master’s degree, these two countries held the same portion with roughly 4%.
