The bar chart illustrates a comparison of opinions of people in the USA and Europe regarding the most crucial factors in business that contribute to success. Five common factors were evaluated: Political situation, External factors, Personality of the director, National economy, and How the business is managed.
Overall, less than half of the people who participated in this survey considered the management of the business as a major factor in being successful in both countries.
To begin with, the number of people in the USA who believed the political situation is the most important factor to achieve success in business was 3 times less than that of European people. Interestingly, the same number of respondents in both countries thought that external factors are the best way. However, the personality of the business director was regarded as more important in the USA (approximately 40%) than in Europe (around 20%).
In contrast, a significant proportion of respondents in both regions considered the national economy as the most crucial factor. For instance, in Europe almost 25%, and in the USA less than 20% of people voted for it. Finally, the most effective and paramount factor that respondents considered in this survey was the management of the business in both regions. A slight difference is observed here; Europeans rated it a little higher than Americans.
