Band 5: The bar chart tells how people of three groups spend their liesure time. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

The bar chart portrays the participation in leisure by adults in 2010 on 3 divers segments.

As an overview, it was observed that throughout the 18 to 46+ of leisure activity of sports depicted diminished trend. Whilst, leisure activity of cultural activities reflected escalated trend. Thereafter, leisure activity of watching TV displayed fluctuating trend.

Initially, in 18 to 25 age group leisure activity in sports rose above 75%. Whilst, in 26 to 35 age group sports diminished by 10%. However, in 36 to 45 age group leisure activity in sports declined 40%. Thereafter, 46+ ages leisure activity in sports diminished 20%.

Subsequently, in 18 to 25 age group cultural activity was the least 15%. Thereafter, 26 to 35 ages cultural activity accelerated to 35%. Moreover, 36 to 45 and 46+ age group cultural activity reflected similar value at 50%.

Finally, in watching TV increased stood up to 55% in 18 to 25 ages. However, 26 to 35 ages TV watching declined by 5%. Thereafter, 36 to 45 age group watching tv escalated 60%. Moreover, Up to 46+ ages TV watching increased steadily up to 80%.
