The bar chart provides information about various leisure activities (sports, cultural activities, and watching television) undertaken by adults at different ages in 2010.
Overall, younger adults were more actively engaged in sports activities than the older people, who had a higher participation rate in cultural activities. However, both spend a large amount of time watching television.
Approximately 75% of adults below 25 participated in sports activities. However, the proportion of adults who took part in sports during their free time has gradually declined as they get older. In fact, there were exactly 40% of people aged 26-45 who took part in sports, 20% over 46.
In contrast, cultural activities were less preferred by those under 25 as only about 15% were engaged in cultural activities. However, people aged 26 and over showed a significantly higher interest rate in the activities at 35%, which then the rate continued to increase in the later generations, peaking at 50% by the people over 46.
In addition, 50% and more adults from four age groups engaged in watching television during leisure time. In fact, people over 46 shared the biggest proportion of the participation rate, at 80%.
