Overall, there was a decrease in the proportion of how people think about the range of shops, job opportunities, the diversity of population, and nightlife while the opposite trends were seen in the remaining two categories. In addition, London citizens are satisfied with their city’s diversity of shops the most.
The figure for the range of markets started at 45%, after which it experienced a slight decline to nearly 42%. A similar change was witnessed in nightlife, which from 25% to about 22%. The figure for job chances was at around 38% in year one, followed by a gradual decrease to 35% in both year two and year three. Meanwhile, people have the most stable satisfaction with the mixture of population, which the percentage of it was from around 37% to 35 % in the three years examined.
About 22% of Londoners loved their city’s museums and art galleries in year one, with a subsequent marginal increase to nearly 26% in the final year. The figure for transport started at 22% and increased to 35% at the end of the period despite a small fall in year two (20%).
