The above graph indicates overweight population in U.K. the first graphs shows the data about people aged above 15 and the second graph shows data about children aged 2 to 15 and the last graph is also regarding children, mainly how the weight differs based on the type of household they live in.
when discussing about the topic, overweight has become a serious health as well as a social issue in many countries. as it is visible in the first table, obesity among men has significantly increased in 2010 among men comapred to 2003. Similarly, women have also reported slight increase in obesity in the same years.
In the second chart, the girls have reported the highest weigt gain, where more than 200 children has reported as obese compared to 2003. among the male children, the increase is seems to be slow and steady yet, there’s no declining in the number reported.
Besides, in the third graph, it is clearly observable that is both parents are obese there’s more likely the children will also get obese. On the contrary, if both parents are not obese, it is less likely the children get obese.
Overall, it is aparent that the ooverweight population is on the rise and the parents and the health ministries and responsible authorities should educate people on how to maintain a healthy life. Otherwise, in the future there will be a population with non-communicable diseases.
