The graph illustrates the percentage of renewable energy provision among four countries: Australia, Germany, Norway and Iceland in 2000, 2004, and 2007. Overall, all figures followed an upward trend, and trend of the Norway’s energy had the biggest changes. Furthermore, it ranked at the first place and kept its dominance until the end of the period.
In 2000, Norway and Iceland’s figure had the bigger proportions than the other nations, with respective figures of approximately 61% and 51%. In 2004 and 2007 the indicator of renewable energy of supply in Norway showed a noticeable growth to 65% and then 79%, while Iceland’s trend saw a big changes. Despite reaching its peak of 59% in 2004, the percentage of renewable energy of total supply declined to 55% in 2007.
In renewable energy supply Australia and Germany’s were ranked at the bottom, albeit that figures saw a significant changes too. If we rely to the data both of the countries saw an increase between 2000 and 2004, with the latter saw a bigger rise. In the end trend of the Germany’s supply carry on its trajectory and reached 18%, while former one showed a slightly decrease.
