The bar chart illustrates how many books from each category were borrowed from Lammertown Public Labrary from 1991 to 2001. Concurrently the pie chart gives information about the membership status of one in 2010.
Overall, the number of borrowed books in most categories increased with the exception of the categories of crime novels and children’s fiction. And the library’s membership approximately two thirds were female and about one third were male.
Regarding to the pie chart, crime novels showed the reduction in the number of books borrowed nearly 500 in 1991 to more than 200 in 2001. Meanwhile, the proportion of children’s fiction took out nearly halved close to 360 books. However, all the categories of book experienced an increase of book borrowed during this time, especially in self improvement book from 200 in 1991 to approximately 1000 in 2001. While language books were insignificantly increased (~ 100 books) during 10 years an autobiographies still remained unchanged.
Looking at the pie chart, the information about the female’s percentages becoming a member took up 2/3 of the total and 1/3 with the proportions of male.
