The bar graph provides information about the overall manufacturing production in portions of Asia, Europe, and the rest of the world over a period of more than one century from 1840 to 2000.
In general, in the beginning, Asia had the highest rate, approximately 50 percent, while other regions had rates no more than 40 percent. However, by 1920, this rate had significantly fallen from 50 percent to 20 percent share, marking the lowest figure for the entire period, and then it grew to 45 percent in 2000.
Europe started with 40 percent share of total manufacturing production, which then increased to 50 percent by 1920, solidifying its position as the leader. Although it slightly decrease by 2000, approximately for 28 percent share.
The rest of the world proportion of total manufacturing production grew slowly, at the end of the period reached more than 30 percent, although during the initial stage of the period it amounted to only 10 percent.
