The line graph represents information about frequency of going to the gym by Eurapain people from different age categories from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, it is clearly seen that all age groups experienced an upward trend. While percentages of categories such as 25-34 and 45 and over grew steadily, fractions of groups 18-24 and 35-44 showed unstabled trend with fluctuations and rapid increase.
In 1990, approximately 16% of people from 25 to 34 years old went to the gym, compared to around 5% in the age group of 45 and over. However, percentage of the 25-34 age category increased steadily to about 30% in 1998, whereas at the same time group 45 and over showed minimal growth reaching roughly 18%. Starting from 2002, the proportion of people aged 25-34 increased steadily to approximately 50% by 2010, with a slight fluctuation in 2006. During the same period, the 45 and over age group reached 10% in 2004. By 2010, this figure had risen slightly to just over 20%.
Individuals ged 18-24 and 35-44 on the other hand, fluctuated and increased more dramatically. After a dramatic increase from about 16% in 1990 to 45% by 2002, the figure continued to grow peaking roughly 59% in 2006 before slightly fluctuating and ending up with 60% in 2010. At the same time, percentage of people who attended the gym aged 35-44 rose gradually from 5% to 22 % by 2002, then experiencing dramatic growth to exactly 40% 2010.
