Overall, Canada dominated over the period, indicating that most of the visitors were from Canada. However, in the beginning year, Mexico had thehighest proportion compared to China, but year by year it changed. It is also clear that the figure for othersshowed the lowest trajectory compared to others.
Focusing on the figures for Canada and China shows different proportions; in the beginning of the period, they started at 53% and 10%, respectively. However, after two years, Canada experienced a dip and decreased to 43%, but China showed a significant increase and exceededthat of Mexico, and other countries stayed at 28%. Furthermore, Canada saw a dip and fell to 40% in 1993, while the figures for China went up and closed the period at 30%.
In contrast, Mexico and others werealmost similar in 1988, starting at 25% for Mexico and 10% for others. Although, the percentages for otherswent down to 9%, while Mexico,followed by others, decreased to 20% in the middle of the period. In the final year, Mexico had a positive change,increasing to 26%, but the proportion for others was not outstanding,decreasing to 4%.
