The given table represents the average minutes per day for leisure activities, while the bar graph illustrates the amount of time for household activities for both sex in the UK in 2008. Overall, it can be seen that male spend more time on entertainment activities, meanwhile, women spend more time on household chores.
According to the table, men and women spend the most amount of time on watching TV, video, and radio, accounting for 137 and 118 minutes per day respectively. Although, the both genders read the almost same time, made up 18 minutes for men and 19 minutes for women. Turning to sport activities, men spend 15 minutes, while women 11 minutes per day.
As is presented in graph, the most time of women consume cooking and washing, constituted more than hour per day, meanwhile, men cooked half hour a day. Furthermore, women shopping and washing clothes more than half hour a day, in contrast, men shopping slightly less than women, but for washing and ironing clothes the used less than 20 minutes a day. However, the men repair thing, accounting for almost 20 minutes, while women less then 15 minutes.
