The bar chart gives information about the number of individuals majoring in five types of jobs in an Australian area from 2001 to 2008.
Overall, both accounting and farming observed a downward trend in the number of the employed while the opposite was true in the pattern of sales, computing àn nursing over an eight-year period. It is also evident that the employed preferred sales rather than farming.
Looking at the details, the number of individuals employed in sales indicated just under 160 thousand, compared to more than 60 thousand of people who chose computing. In addition, the employment in nursing represented nearly 60 thousand, which was as high as that in computing. In the next year, the number of people employed in sales had a slight growth to nearly 170 thousand, which dominated the highest point in seven years. Meanwhile, both computing and nursing employment observed a similar increasing trend when the number of computing majors rose significantly to 20 thousand, being higher than the nursing employment with about 60 thousand workers in 2008.
In terms of accounting, the employment stood at about nearly 70 thousand, in comparison with the farming employment, at about 30 thousand in 2001. In 2008, the figures for accounting and farming declined to roughly 60 thousand and 20 thousand, respectively. It is clear that the number of individuals choosing farming was lowest among five categories in the seven-year period.
