The chart shows the principal exports earnings in three different areas which are the tourism, the dairy products and also the meat products of the company Southland in 2000 and in 2024 ,also providing the estimated sales for 2025.
The international tourism earnings are outstanding, starting at around 8 billion pounds in 2000 rising almost to 9 billion in 2024 and expecting a peak at 10 billion by the year 2025. Similarly the dairy products brought successfull returns to the agency, showing a weaker starting point at 7 billion pounds in 2000 but then a sharp rise in 2024 breaks any actual record reaching the 10 billion. However this trend is not expected to last since in 2025 the amount is believed to decrease to 9.5 billion. In contrast from the previous trends, the meat products are not as remarkable as the other investments, showing an original revenue of 6 billion pounds and then an effective and predicted constant drop to 5 billion.
In summary, both the international tourism and the dairy products are the main form of revenue and are expected to remain the leading sources of income, while the meat products shows evidence of failure.
