Overall, what stands out from the chart is that there were considerable upward trends in international tourism in 2000, 2024 and it is expected to continue to grow in 2025. An opposite situation is in the meat products exports where marginal downward trends began in 2000, kept in 2024 and are estimated to be in 2025. However, the dairy products exports had a significant fluctuation from 2000 to 2024 and will fall a bit in 2025 from the highest figure of 2024.
Looking at the details, as regards the international tourism, exports started with just above 8 billion pound in 2000, and then there was a slight increase to approximately 9 billion pounds in 2024. It is estimated that exports in international tourism will rise up to just under 10 billion pounds in 2025. If we look at the dairy products exports, it began with 7 billion pounds in 2000 and jumped to a little less than 20 billion pounds in 2024. The figure will decrease to 9 billion pounds in 2025.
By contrast, the meat products exports went in the opposite direction. Having a remarkable fall from 6 billion pounds in 2000 to approximately 5.5 billion pounds in 2024, the figure will drop to 5 pounds in 2025.
