The pie charts compare the proportion of spending on necessary products in China in 1995 and 2011. In general, according to charts, chinese spent private part of their money on food and clothing, while medicine and household accounted for less persents. It is noteworthy that figure for food remained as a leading source despite it’s decreasing over the period.
To begin with,the figures for medicine and household experienced significantly increases over the given period. Spending on medicine rate started at 4% in 1995 and this persentage reached to 11% in the final year. A similar uptrent was observed in the proportion of household, starting with 9% as well as it increased to 12%.
In contrast, the figure for food decreased noticeable from 68% to 59% in 2011, albeit the decreasing it kept the dominance among other sources. In addition, the spending on clothing also witnessed slight decrease, starting with 19% in 1995 and showed 18% in 2011.
