The pie charts compare the percentage of spendings for four different household spendings in China in 1995 and 2011. Overall, despite following a downward trend, Food and Clothing dominated the household budget, whereas Medicine showed an opposite pattern but remained the lowest share in both years.
In 1995, 68% of budget was allocated to household and 19% for clothing. Subsequently, in 2005, both figures declined with food which saw dramatic fall to 59%. In contrast, clothing dropped minimmaly for 1%.
As for the budget of medicine, accounted for only 4% and household with 9% in 1995. Then, they experienced a significant rose climbing to 11% and 12% in 2011.
