The bar chart compares the proportion of individuals from a particular country which helps charities by contributing money by the age group from 1992.
It is clear that an increasing amount of individuals are providing money to charities so they can help the needy. However, the funding for young groups of people was dropped over the period, while other groups had little increase and decrease.
Looking at the chart in more detail, we can see that in 1990, young adults who were from 18 to 25 used to get around 16% of the budget. However, over the period, it steadily declined to less than 7%. Furthermore, age groups of 30s and 40s were around 31% and 32% respectively. Although, by the end of 2010, both experienced a decline at 24% and 35% respectively.
On the other hand, individuals who were 36 to 50 used to spend more money than others and peaked at 90, 1990. In contrast, people who were below 65 years old used to spend around 30% over the period. Whereas, individuals who were older than 35 used to pay about 32%. Finally, over the 20-year period, both had slightly increased in the percentage, around 39% and 35% respectively.
