The bar chart illustrates the rate of Canadians donating to charity in different ages in 2000 and 2015.
Overall, the age of 35 to 49 years old, and 50 to 64 had the highest donations. Whereas the age of 18 to 24 had the lowest figure in both periods given.
The group of 18 to 24 years old, both had the lowest figure of all, approximately 20 percent in 2000, furthermore the figure went lower in 2015 just slightly higher than 10 percent. While the 25 to 34 years old was initially with just below 30 percent then decreased to about 25 percent.
On the other hand 35 to 49 years old had reached the high at almost 40 percent in 2000, before experience a small declined to generally 35 percent. However, the 50 to 64 years old had a near peak at around 40 percent in 2015, after the low of about 35 percent in 2000. Whilst 65 and over years old was just over 30 percent in 2000, later the number slightly increased to about 35 percent.
