The bar chart gives information about the amount of money which was given to charitable association by 5 age groups in Canada in the years of 2000 and 2015. The units are measured in percentage.
Overall, three age groups – 18 to 24, 25 to 34, and 35 to 49 – demonstrated a higher quantity in 2000 than the number of donors in 2015. Although other groups – 50 to 64, and 65 and over – began a lower point in the initial year, they continued with their upward trajectory by 2015.
Looking more closely, the group of 18 to 24 ages started at 20 percent in 2000, and it moderately decreased to just over 10 percent in the end of the span. The 25 to 34 age brackets reached just under 30 percent in 2000, before it plummeted to 25 percent in the final year. The people who belonged to 35 to 49 years groups began with chart high of almost 40 percent at the beginning year, albeit having a gradual decline to about 35 percent in 2015.
Turning to brackets 50 to 64 and 65 and over, both exhibited similar trends. The former started with about 35 percent, peaked at over 37 percent in 2015. The latter, on the other hand, had smaller quantity. It began at just above 30 percent, following by a significant growth to around 34 percent at the end of the period.
