Overall, the proportions of age groups between 18-25 and 36-50 aged people was decrease over the dacade, whereas the proportions of age groups 51-65 and over 65 was experienced an upward trend following a decade.
The percentage of giving money for charity by 36-50 age group was peaked in 2009, at around 41%. However this type of age group was decreased over a decade accounting for 34%. The percentage of charity support by 26-35 age group followed next, constituted around 35% in 2009, and declined to approximately 27% in 2019. The proportion of charity support by 18-25 age group was relatively low among five age groups, making up around 19% in 2009, and declined to around 9%.
However, the proportion of money giving to charity by 51-65 age group was experienced an upward trend between 2009 and 2019, from 35% to roughly 38%. The percentage of charity support by over 65 age group increaced in 2019, overtaking the proportion of charity support by 36-50 age groups, making up 35%.
