Many people choose to study a subject, whether it is their hobby, their interests, or if they are planning their future career. The following graph shows whether people from different age groups study for their interest or their career.

For most people, studying in their early 20s are often because they want to get a good job, or get a high paying salary, but there is a small percentage, which studies just for interests. They also gain a lot of support from their bosses because, in today’s society, young teens and adults have a bright future ahead of them.

As the age group progresses, we can see that most people study for interests, that is because most people already have their life figured out by the late 20s and above. There are also less people who want to study for their future careers after age 40, that is most likely because they have already gotten a stable job, and they don’t need any more high paying jobs anymore. Plus, the older you are, the less likely you are able to remember things.

As they get older, they also gain less support from their employers, until around the 40s when the employers support them more. They gain a lot of help from employers such as time off and financial help. As their ages approach 30, they gain less help from their boss. Surprisingly, as they grow older, they gain more support from their employers again. This is most likely because they are halfway through their life, and people understand they need that time to enjoy their life before they can’t anymore.

In summary, most people study for a career at a young age, and slowly will study for interests at an old age. Young adults and middle aged people also gain more help from their employers than any other age group. Anyways, this is the summarization of this graph of reasons why people study and their employers’ support.
