The bar graph illustrates the sales of magazines per person in five countries – A, B, C, D, and E – from 2000 to 2010, together with a prediction for 2020.
Overall, it can be seen that the number of magazines sold per person is expected to decline over the years. Countries A and B recorded the highest sales volume throughout, while Country E consistently had the lowest figures. On the contrary, Country D is the only country forecasted to experience a steady increase.
In 2000, Country B had the highest magazine sales, at around 50 copies per person, followed by Country A, with a little under 50. These figures fell slightly to about 46 and 45, respectively, in 2010, and are predicted to decrease further by 2020. Similarly, Country C has seen a gradual decline, dropping from 36 in 2000 to 34 in 2010, before reaching approximately 32 in 2020.
Subsequently, Country D showed an upward trend, increasing from around 18 in 2000 to 20 after a decade, with a further rise to about 23 in 2020. Country E remained the lowest-selling country, with sales of around 6 in 2000, reaching its peak in 2010 before plunging back to approximately 6 in 2020.
