The quality of teaching was a small minority of students option with only 15% in the beginning, while this trend grew marginally to 18% at the end.
The quality of resources and good sports, social activities adhered to contrasting trends throughout two decades. Almost one fifth of students applied university due to quality of resources in 1987, whereas this trend showed a gradual decline to 17% in 2007. In 1987, 19% of students participated high school lessons because of better sports or social capabilities, this figure declined considerably to 65, followed by a thirteen-pecentage-point fall in 2007.
