Overall, the UK spent more money on consumer goods than France, both country expenditures were at their highest on cars. Nonetheless the French have spent the least on cameras, while the Britains on perfumes.
In the terms of cars, the UK had spent almost £450,000 as opposed to France which spent £400,000 in total, similarly the British spent more than the French in the camera category (about £350,000 and £100,000), on the opposing side the French’s expenditures on perfumes were roughly higher than the British (a total of £200,000 and just over £100,000).
On the other hand, the amount of money spent on books in the UK was a lot higher than France by almost £100,000, when in computers the it slightly differs between both countries by £350,000 in the UK and almost £380,000 in France with a £30,000 difference.
