It then followed a noticeable rise to 50 % in 2010, being the second age group to visit the gym once per month.
A similar pattern can be observed between 35-44, who was 4% in 1990 and went up to 23% in 2006, and dramatically rose to 40% in 2010. Coming to the lower end of the spectrum 45 and over recorded 2% in 1990, with an uninterrupted increase accounted for over 20% in 2010, with the smallest proportion of people to go to the fitness center.
