Overall, males tend to get heart attacks more often the females in all age groups. The older both males and females get, the more prone they are to heart attacks. Moreover, women in the age range of 29-44 had a very few heart attacks recorded , however, it dramatically increase in the age 65+.
First, men in the age group from 29-44 recorded 123,000 heart attacks. From the ages 45-64, the heart attacks rate increased significantly reaching 424,000 heart attack cases. Moreover, it increased slightly in 65+ years old males, with 440,00 heart attacks counted.
On the other hand, females had fewer heart attacks than men. From 29 to 44 years old, only 3 thousand heart attack cases documented. In addition, ages 45-64 reported 133,000 cases more reaching 136,000. However, the instances reported jumped sharply reaching to 374,000 documented heart attack cases.
