In the 45-64 age group, the number of heart attacks recorded a sharp increase for both genders, reaching 424 thousand people for men and 136 thousand people for women.
Turning to the remaining group, in the 65+ age category, the number of heart attacks showed a marginal increase for men, reaching 440 thousand people, while women recorded a dramatic increase for 65+ age group, reaching 374 thousand individuals.
