The bar chart compares the sales of three types of magazines over a five-week period in one region.
Overall, all categories followed an upward trend, albeit to varying degrees. Furthermore, although there were minor drops in the sales of fashion and sports magazines during the period, the income from music magazines rose steadily. In addition, the sales of sports magazines were the highest throughout, while the opposite was true for the sales of fashion magazine.
At the beginning, approximately $38 million was generated from fashion magazines, compared to $42 million for music magazines. The latter increased significantly, reaching a high of $80 million by the end of the period, while the former fell to $20 million in Week 3. Despite a rise of $40 million over the final two weeks, this category remained the least popular.
As for the revenue from sports magazines, it stood at just above $75 million initially, a figure that then rose sharply to $110 million by Week 3 before falling to $100 million in Week 4. In the final week, however, this figure rebounded, closing the period at $120 million.
