The given bar chart illustrates the figure for energy produced from wind in 4 countries India, Denmark, Germany and the USA in the period 15 years from 1985. Units are measured in megawatts.
Overall, all four countries had steadily increased over the period in amount of wind energy. It is clear that United States dominated the amount of generated power, until Denmark outraced it at the end of the period. Whereas India and Germany did not have a sharp increase, their trend was gradually increasing.
First and the main, it is evident that US had the highest number from 1985 to 2000 generated energy, starting with about 1200 MW in 1985, peaking the top approximately 1600 MW in 1990. On an equal basis with United States, Denmark had spectacular and rapid progress towards wind energy, turning to stacked bar chart it may be seen that Denmark started with low trend, however commencing from 1990 Denmark had unwaveringly rocket to 450MW, thereafter in 2000 reached nearly 1600MW on a pare with US.
For the other two, generally speaking, German underwent a steady rise from 400 in 1985 to nearly 900 in 2000. From India’s perspective, originally the last ranking at 200 megawatts in 1985, it also considerably spiked to 1200 in 2000, making it the third.
In general, all countries had grown in this period of time, and America was the only exception that its energy production increased to 1,650 megawatts before 1990, but its production has since fallen slightly by about 100 megawatts in 2000.
