A glance at the graph reveals that unemployment and retirement spent the most hours of free time in a typical week in all types of jobs. In general, men have more leisure time than women, who are more involved in housework than males.
As can be seen in the chart, the number of hours are enjoyed by employed male and female which are about 85 hours and approximately 78 hours respectively. Interestingly, there was a quite similarity in the quantity of hours spent by retired men, being only about 2 hours less than that of workless male and retired women, spending the same amount of hours to take part in relaxation activities of jobless female.
When it comes to the full-time employed, men had around 43 hours of entertainment time, which was a double less than occupation and retirement male. There were roughly 30 hours of women, spending less just over about 5 hours than male. In addition, the figure for part-time employed and housewives of women enjoying 40 hours and 50 hours respectively each week. There was no information for these two groups regarding the number of hours, spent by male.
