It is noticeable that the popularity of Pizza decreased dramatically throughout study period. On the other hand, Hamburger and Fish and Chips consumption increased rapidly.
In 1970, the most popular meals in the UK universities was Pizza, students consumed over 300 gr each week, compared with 20 gr and 70 gr of Hamburger and Fish and Chips respectively. After 10 years, Hamburger consumption rose to 150 gr. Likewise, Fish and Chips which grew up to 80 gr. While the consumption of Pizza dropped to a little bit above 200 gr.
Between 1985 and 1990, the popularity of Fish and Chips shifted up to the highest place, students were eating 300 gr each week in 1985 and 500 gr in 1990. Likewise, Hamburger consumption soared from 110 gr in 1998 to approximately 300 gr in the final year. Nevertheless, Pizza consumption showed a negligible rose at the same years.
