Overall, it can be seen that both age groups utilized most of their times by watching TV. Although relaxing and thinking made up the lowest hours by youngest, activities like sport, exercise and recreation made up the lowest daily hours that age 75 and over 75 spent.
The old age group spent 4.5 hours daily by watching TV which was nearly double hours that people between 15 and 19 ages. More older people spent their times than younger people by reading, with 1 hour per day as opposed to 0.2 hours daily. Moreover, 0.6 hours were spent by the old while only 0.1 hours were spent by the young.
The number of hours that both age group spent on socializing and communicating were nearly the same, with nearly 1 hour daily. Playing games or using computer had higher daily hours usage than doing sport, exercise and recreation, with 1.1 hours as opposed to 0.6 hours for younger generation.
