The bar chart compares data on average salaries of one country’s citizen’s in 6 different spheres (administration, financial services, telecommunications, tourism, transport, retail and shops) in 2000 and 2010, while the table illustrates overall sum of salaries in those two years.
Overall, earnings in all given spheres had risen by the end of the period, with the tourism being the only exception. It is also noticeable that the average annual salary for all areas had increased.
Among all the fields, financial services were the highest-paying one in both years. In 2000, workers in finance made approximately 115,000 US dollars (USD), while the figure had grown by 2010 to about 130,000 USD. In contrast, those who worked in tourism earned the least amount in 2000 and 2010, 20,000 USD in the former year and 18,000 USD in the latter.
Looking at the table, it can be seen that in 2010, people on average made 44,000 USD. Meanwhile, by 2010, the number had had a growth of 6,000 USD, reaching 50,000 USD.
