Overall, most apps had an upwards trend, while the reverse was true for Facebook. Despite initial lead, Facebook was surpassed and by the end of the period it had the lowest average time spent. Notably, the leader was changing almost every year.
Analyzing apps with a downward trend, the figure for Facebook was initially higher than that of other apps listed (roughly 25). However it decreased, dropping to a bit higher than zero and recording the lowest amount compared to whole chart.
Regarding category that witnessed consistent growth, twitter had initial number of 20 and started rising, reaching the high of above 40 minutes average time spent and taking the lead from Snapchat in the final year.
In contrast, both Snapchat and Instagram experienced an upward trend. Notably, Instagram had figure of approximately 22 and started to fluctuate, changing from 40 to 20 minutes. In 2017, Instagram reached its peak and was the leader. Despite having the last position initially, Snapchat climbed to its peak (around 41 minutes), managing to keep the lead for two years, namely 2018 and 2019, although this peak was not maintained and dropped to its initial number by the end of the period.
