The given line graph compares the the changes among three individual crimes including burglary, car theft and robbery of Manchester city center from 2003 to 2012.
Overall, it is clearly seen that the line graph reached its peak in 2004 in the case of burglary and it is round about 3,750 in numbers. In contrast, in the case of robbery it is only 500 in number and it happened in 2014.
The graph illustrates a negative trend for burglary from 2004 to 2008 and it diminished significantly. Then after a slight rise, it remained almost stagnant from 2009 to 2012. In the case of robbery, it had an increasing trend from 2003 to 2005 and after that, it decreased in 2006. But from 2006 to 2012 there were slight changes in this particular case. Lastly, there is seen a fluctuating trend in car theft. From 2003 to 2006 there was a slight fall but the next year it started to surge and again in 2008 it returned to the same number which is near about 2000. However, from the next year it started to rise dramatically and stopped in 2010 and finally it peaked in 2012 which is a litter below 3,000 in numbers.
